Sun and Frustration

I started the day with a lovely walk on the Heath, where these crocuses were lurking, but finished feeling disappointed when I didn't make it into the final 12 jurors for the case I'd been assigned. I got to see the inside of a courtroom at least. I hadn't appreciated before jury service that they actually select 15 names for a jury, then when you get to the court they call out 12 of the 15 names for the final selection.

Apparently there are no new trials starting tomorrow so I'm not required until Thursday. Ho hum. We're off to The Paradise for dinner with Steve tonight - so I'll have a glass of something bubbly to make up for it!
