Lentil and Cardamom Soup

Today is a kitchen day - made another batch of the lentil and cardamom soup that spiced up the start of February. Also made a big pot of red cabbage - the smell of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon, as it was cooking, more than made up for a few sleety showers outside!
