Song Thrush

The sequel to my last post, and the consequences of sparrow hawk endeavours, today we were visited by a song thrush who has been popping in our garden for the last few weeks but not for long each time. It seemed quite timid. Today, appearing more confident, the bird stayed for some time, searching for food in the lawn and hedges, long enough to allow me to snap some half decent pictures. Here's one of them.
