Lunchtime 'Ent'ertainment
It's about 10 days since I last went into Bracondale Wood properly, a few days longer than that since I last visited my much loved 'Ent' pals (originally blipped 5th July last year). I can only go so long without a woodland 'fix' and I needed one today - it's been far too long!. In the time since I was last there the bluebells, sadly, have now mostly died away - and the wood anemone and celandines are now just a distant memory. I decided today to visit the Ents for some tree-hugging and just stay with them for a while; if necessary my blip could wait until I was home this evening. So I plonked my backside down in one of the cradles formed by their roots. Today's been another stonker, though still with the strong winds . The sun filtering down through the Ents' wind-ruffled leaves produced a lovely light-show effect moving around on the ground - numerous birds were singing - and I chilled big-time. Heaven .....
So I decided to blip a shot of the view upwards, with the sun dodging around between the rustling leaves. You'd have to have been there to see it, to really appreciate how lovely it looked - a photo can't do it justice .....
It's Friday at last, the weekend's here and long may this glorious weather continue! Have a great weekend blippers xx
