Madrid -> Panama City

Hubby had insisted on not putting the alarm on last saying saying that we would wake up early enough to have breakfast at the hotel before heading to the airport. We didn't ! We therefore made our way to Barajas airport where we had to queue at check in to pick up our boarding passes to Panama. Our bags had been checked all the way to Panama from Heathrow. I've no idea why they didn't issue boarding passes for the second leg of the journey at Heathrow.
We then went for breakfast. Our flight was at 12:20pm. The kids were very impressed with the new Iberia aircraft. Lots of things to watch on the TV and the cain crew issued codes for free wi-fi (which we didn't use). The flight took just over ten hours and we arrived in Panama City around 5:30pm. After picking up our bags, we got a taxi to the hotel (Radisson Decapolis hotel). At check in , they gave us a $20 dollar voucher for the bar (per room) so as soon as we'd dropped off our bags we went to the roof bar and had a drink. We then went for a pizza.
When we got back to the hotel, I noticed that the lock on my case had been broken and someone had been running through my suitcase. I guess this had taken place whilst the cases were at Madrid airport overnight. Nothing had been taken but I'm glad that I took out my laptop at Heathrow at the last minute.
