Homework!!

Last week we learnt about Depth of Field and Aperture Priority, oh and white balance.  All subjects that absolutely fascinated me. 

Part of our homework for the week was to take an image with a shallow depth of field.  I saw this bunch of reeds when CCN and I were walking this morning and I thought it might be a good subject to practise on.  It's amazing what you see when your down on your hands and knees trying to get down to eye level with a green reed!! 

I even saw a pole dancing wasp but sadly he was moving far to fast for me to capture a clear image.  I'll tuck that idea away for a rainy day!!
