The Great Hop Escape

The hop harvest has started in earnest. I walked round the block this morning to find they were cutting down the vines and taking them by tractor and trailer to the hop kiln. This piece of vine had got hooked up on a support wire so he is an escapee  from the drying of the hops and the eventual making of the beer.Placed nicely in front of the rest of the garden which makes a nice backdrop.
