Purple primula

It was such a dull day yesterday that we decided to get some instant colour for the garden from our local garden centre. It's amazing what a few cheap hanging baskets can do to cheer the place up. Some of the primulas were quite unusual colours, and I particularly liked the veined effect in this one.
Then of course we had strong winds overnight followed by snow and hail this morning. The hanging baskets were barely ruffled by the weather, happily.
