A sad farewell...

...to the Lake District...

Before heading home this morning, I walked to the end of the farm track and took this photo of the rolling misty hills and the neighbouring farm. I'm always amazed at the number of stone walls to be found in Cumbria, that stretch for mile after mile... Just think of the hours and hours of work that must have been put into building this wonderful walls over the years...
