10 miles later

The day started with a beautiful sunrise. After a large breakfast I set off from Scarborough heading south, hoping to reach Filey. Felt like I was flying along with a tailwind and a light rucksack. Muddy and slippery in parts but I managed to stay upright. Made it to Filey faster than I expected and was grateful for the seats by the tea bar at the beach. After enjoying a mug of tea and a sit in the sunshine I found my way up to the town centre, located the bus station and was back in Scarborough long before my 4pm deadline.
