No 117 Herring Gull

Trying to up the tempo on my numbered bird blips to reach my target of 150 by the end of the year. Today we went to Southwold, which was gloriously sunny, as it always is when we go there. The TV cameras were there apparently making some sort of murder mystery starring Martin Clunes. We didn't see him, but Pete saw Hermione Norris and I saw Paul McGann buying a bottle of wine in the Adnam's shop.
We had morning coffee on the pier and afternoon tea by the harbour where I got this bird to pose for me. It was very windy so there weren't a lot of birds around although we did see a field full of rooks - still unblipped - and some skylarks taking a sand bath in the dunes.
