Faded Flags

Ever since arriving in Mexico, I have been fascinated by the flags used to decorate for parties and celebrations. Anything I am fascinated with, I tend to photograph to death. Mostly the shots I have taken are of the very colorful displays (see one of my favorites from just about a year ago). Today, however, I discovered these faded relics and couldn't resist capturing this almost monochromatic scene. I had to include the palm frond so any viewer would know that this is a full strength image, no desaturation or manipulation whatsoever.
