Nong Khiaw Viewpoint

I set my alarm for 7.30am to walk up to the viewpoint over the town and river as I'd been told it's best to do it first thing in the morning. However it was so misty that I could barely see out of my front door. I waited for it to start to clear and left around 9am. The signs say it takes 1hr 30mins to get to the top but luckily it only took 40 minutes and I was treated to a stunning 360° view as the cloud was clearing.

After lunch I got a minivan back down to Luang Prabang to stay one night before heading to Vang Vieng.
