Lots of lovely colours in the garden at the mo - this is Mr EG's grapevine. Reckon he has just enough to make a small glass of wine!

Riding lesson on Lime this aft and then my niece Catherine came and had a go on Jack. She did very well on him and showed off her rising trot and he was very well behaved and did not muck her about (even though her little legs don't even reach below the saddle!). Back to ours for some lunch and cakes and then we all took a walk up Billa Barra Hill with Pegs. Then it was time for them to go home so I had a nice soak in the bath and then went to dinner at Andrew and Katies. Mr EG away supervising DofE. Stupid thing is he is only about 5 miles up the road but has to camp over to keep an eye on them so I popped in on the way back to say goodnight.

Unfortunately neither James or Catherine wanted their picture taken today - I wasn't sneaky enough so you have got a leaf instead!
