Poppy

My neighbour has these beautiful big poppies in their front garden, and yesterday I noticed that one had come out in bloom. So I decided that I would blip it today, and when I went past this morning there were three to choose from.

It was quite difficult to focus on it as it was a little bit windy so they were blowing around. I took a few pics, but chose this one as the sunlight had lit the petals really nicely. I did get one with a bee landing in the centre but I'd cut part of the poppy off the photo in my hurry to capture the bee!
