The Thames

I'm never quite sure what this part of the Thames can be referred to , but anyway it was a super quick shot as I was annoyed as in really annoyed.  Tonight at Cannon Street the trains were all coming in on different platforms, so I was standing there waiting and my train was announced 3 minutes before it was due to leave.  Yep on a different platform and no they didn't open the barriers and as most people have tickets it was taking a while.  So when did the train leave?  Exactly on time *sigh* - yep I wasn't even through the carrier and neither was most of the other passengers - grrr!  On a plus it gave me time to get a blip.

Had a 7.30am phone call from my father this morning to say that my mother's leg was so swollen her doctor called an ambulance and they spent the previous day at the hospital - let's just say she certainly didn't meet the 4 hour wait!  So she's been given injections to thin her blood, x-rays etc at the moment they don't think she has a clot.
