attingham

katie sales came to visit today and we had planned, rather optimistically, to climb the long mynd. on a glorious walk back from church this morning i was feeling fairly smug about the weather and the good choice of activity i had made. however, katie arrived in shrewsbury during a particular horrific downpour and so we went to the pub instead.

thankfully, just as we were finishing off our drinks, the sky turned blue and so we wandered across to attingham park for a stroll. after a lovely long walk and the most amount of deer i've ever seen there, the heavens opened again. a perfectly timed walk.

sakalasafari joined us for dinner at (another) pub and so that's two good portions of meat she's had this weekend.
