Above Folla Rule
Today began under a layer of cloud, but soon turned into a bright, sunny, early spring day - quite the opposite of yesterday! - so we went out for lunch at the Old Post Office in Chapel of Garioch before heading across country for a walk around the lake at Haddo.
Here, from the Fyvie road north of Folla Rule, we see the recently reopened stone quarry at the Den of Smiddyburn and, on the horizon, the BBC's Meldrum Transmitter on the summit of Corehill.
