Lovely Day at Rutland Water
The weather held until lunchtime at Rutland Water today and there was plenty to see.
The highlight of the day was the stoat, which we watched for nearly 10 minutes until it was seen off by a coalition of magpies and canada geese.
What we saw: curlew, gadwall, kestrel, oystercatcher, egret, little grebe, snipe, shelduck, song thrush, stoat and wigeon.
