Embracing the squint
I spent today on a street photography course. Most useful for technical stuff (note to self: use a much faster shutter speed) - and some interesting chat about the ethics of taking shots in public places. Best quote was from Werner Herzog, that it's better to ask for forgiveness, rather than ask for permission. Though he also said there's nothing wrong with spending a night in jail if it means getting the shot you need.
Straight out of camera is the preferred style, so Photoshop should really be binned. But I want to straighten that clock tower, complete the word 'Scotland', clone out the backpack, give them all feet, and possibly add a flock of swans flying across the sky.
