Comfort food
We've had blustery wet weather today but we didn't mind because we went to a lovely concert by the White Mountain Symphony Orchestra at Show Low High School this afternoon. A quite different programme beginning with Wild Mustangs. Brass and wind pieces including a Ralph Vaughan Williams suite of folk tunes. A string orchestra piece I can that I don't recall the composer or title and The Seahawk incidental music from the movie starring Errol Flynn. The reason I'm so sketchy with details is that there was no printed programme. Teresa Dick talked about the music as the orchestra rearranged themselves for the various pieces. Local community television was recording the concert and were using a boom-camera which was a tad distracting.
Just checking on past blips. Two days missed: 22 March and 11 November 2014. Maybe I'll get some mojo back when I visit the Durango Celtic Festival in a couple of weeks.
Thank you all for the kind comments on yesterday's journal entry..
