Mother and Daughter

My wife and her mother are the subjects here.  The place where her mother lives hosted a meet and greet for families of residents today to encourage more family participation in the lives of the residents and for families to get to meet other families.  I visited with a man who had no family present.  He is the last of 8 children, and he said his wife died 20 years ago, and they had no children.   When I asked him how he got to this place, he said he thought his nephew in Georgia was involved in making the decision.  He was happy I helped him figure out his age - 88.  He knew his birthdate.
