Speedy

I met Speedy this afternoon after class.  He moved from California to Oregon looking for a slower pace of life. "People misjudge me because of the way I look," he told me. Speedy talked a lot about the process of developing trusting relationships with people and seemed to sum things up pretty succinctly, "Be nice and people treat you nice," he said. "Be mean, and people treat you mean. You gotta get to know people."

I agree, Speedy. So true. Everybody has a story and I just need to slow down, listen and enjoy.
