We love Laura

Well that was a fun day. We headed to the other end of the world, okay East London, to the Olympic Park and the Velodrome for the afternoon session of Round 5 of the Revolution series. Sprints, Eliminations, the marvellous Derny racing and Points races were all fascinating and entertaining. And very unexpectedly spending 60minutes watching Sarah Storey attempt to beat The Hour world record was completely compelling. Sadly she didn't quite make it but she did set the GB record and a C5 Paralympic record and it was a brilliant spectacle to watch. Many blurry pictures of people moving very fast but possibly the biggest moment was Laura Trott winning the Elimination race with such seeming ease. So here she is.

Now to collapse on the sofa with take-out fish and chips and The Voice. Watching other people exercise is very tiring.
