Joy Division

A thoroughly miserable day here after yesterday's beautiful sunshine. It has drizzled all day and the sky has been grey and dark.
Jon took Iris for a walk this morning after deciding it wasn't the greatest weather for a bike ride. I did some "housewifey" things like prep a curry for dinner, make rice pudding in my new, much loved slow cooker etc...
I managed to get out for a swim but the rest of the day was spent indoors doing craft stuff with Iris, watching Six Nations rugby and eating cake.
As you have probably realised I didn't take the photo of Ian Curtis. I didn't take a photo today but Jon and I have just watched a compelling documentary about the Manchester band (of which Curtis was lead singer) from the late 70's/early 80's Joy Division. I knew nothing about them and found it fascinating. Even more fascinating is my husband's encyclopedic knowledge of modern music. Whilst I was revising for my GCSEs Jon was clearly spending time learning about music.
