Maternal bonding

After yesterday's I had hoped for blue skies and a more colourful blip but the day was a bit dreich and this evening is wet and windy.

Inside the lambing shed was lovely and cosy though with this new mother and her lambs just a few days old. We don't officially start for a few weeks but there are a few early birds skipping about already and two more lambed this afternoon. I will apologise now for a journal full of fluffy lambs next month!
