lake gazing

We trooped into the Lakes as the larger Ward family unit, stopping for a run around the park and gardens at Brockhole. A visit wouldn't be complete without stone skimming and throwing by the jetty. Crossing the lake on the car chain ferry we next stopped at Coniston for duck feeding, tea and cake. A very fitting way to spend a mizzly day.
