Crocuses

The crocuses have started to appear - always a sign that spring is on the way. Sadly, they don't last very long, but are beautiful when they are here.

I had to check whether the plural is 'crocuses' or 'croci' - it would seem that both are acceptable, although crocuses is the more popular term.
