Hi ho....

They say that every cloud has a silver lining. Well this one certainly did.
After the miserableness of the day before the sun was out for most of today which was a blessing for Miniman's school trip to Ash End Farm. Equipped with welly boots and a packed lunch they had been left at school this morning. When I went to pick him up I was greeted by a very excited boy holding his bag in one hand and a plastic cup containing an egg "which I picked from underneath a chicken Mummy".
Needless to say it was dippy egg & soldiers for tea.
