The Escape Artist

This sweet little ferret was outside the pet shop in a big cage. She was trying her best to find a way out and continually checked every nook and cranny of the cage in case a sudden hole had appeared.

I did feel sorry for her and we stopped and chatted to the lady in the shop who said she was a very young and friendly ferret, didn't bite and was looking for a new home! I considered it for a second, then I thought of Toto's hunting instinct and knew it wouldn't work out!!
