A Great Day

A fantastic summer day, almost too hot to be out running this morning. Spent some time down at the Viaduct this afternoon watching cricket on the big screen (that's a first for me, taking an interest in cricket) and listening to the band playing at the Volvo Ocean Race "village". It was a very relaxing time, Auckland certainly does it well. And great finish to the match. Then later in the evening welcoming the first boats to come in - amazing after 20 days racing from Sanya in China, the first 3 arrive here within just a few miles of each other. It was quite a sight, shame they weren't a few hours earlier, before the sun went down.
