'Some Like it Hot'

A gorgeous day today with fabulous blue skies.

Off to Wakehurst Nat.Trust. En route we stopped at a little garden centre, and I was thrilled to find they had some pretty Hellebores in 3inch pots selling at £2.50 each. Bargain! We bought five! Watch this space!

On arrival, we had a freshly baked scone with our coffee which sufficed as our early lunch.

We had a good three hour walk .....five minutes in P realised he had left his camera card at home in the computer! We had taken some wild bird food....when we arrived at the lake there wasn't a bird in sight..within seconds a huge amount of Ducks and some Canada Geese were surrounding us. When we started to walk away they chased us all along the path. I only managed to capture a couple of shots as I couldn't stop laughing. They looked so funny!

Tonight I went to a Quiz night at our Fitness centre. We called our team 'Some Like it Hot' .........we all LOVE Marilyn Monroe.......the questions were SO obscure but WE WON!!! Great team work! We won a bottle of Pink fizz and a box of Chocolates....and a winners trophy (plastic).
