The Northern Fells.

Today I went out to do some more experimenting with panoramas.  I headed to where I had a good view of Blencathra and the northern fells.  I was rather surprised to find a snow drift still about 2 foot 6 inches deep beside the road.

I stopped on the hill top near where there was a work party for the Cumbria Wildlife Trust's new reserve at Eycott Hill.  That is going to be an interesting reserve and right (more or less ) on our doorstep.  One point six million has been awarded to the Heritage Lottery Fund to buy the reserve and run a project improving access, training in upland management  etc.

The panorama still isn't what I am trying to get but I think I am improving.
