Live Long and Prosper

A Vulcan Salute, to mark the passing today of Leonard Nimoy, aged 83, who played Mr Spock in Star Trek.   Saddened to hear the news, the TV series was a big hit in our home, we didn't miss an episode. 

The hand gesture is based on a Jewish priestly blessing, the Hebrew letter "shin", which has three upward strokes.  

To quote Spock - "Change is the essential process of all existence".  

"To boldly go", or should it really have been "To go boldly"? 

"He's dead Jim".   "Scotty, beam me up."
