Moray sunset

I was driving in search of a photo opportunity. Unashamedly I was searching the back roads and lanes of Aberdeenshire and South East Moray. It was not till I re-entered the Moray Boundary that I started to find subjects. An old abandoned cottage, the standing Stones at Rothiemay and this old gable standing on top of a hill near Keith. I have passed it various times and this evening I climbed the fence and cut across the field in the caused blast o' the wind. The scene was better to experience than the photograph  communicates. A wintery sunset par excellence the snow on ben rinnes and the oranges and purples in the sky in subtle shades and strips of vibrant colour.
