Silver maple

A very cold day today, 1°F this morning when I got up. Consequently we haven't been far. I have ordered a coat for Pete. Of course, by the time it gets here, it will be warming up, but never mind. I think that now he is getting older, he may be feeling the cold more. When I see how I get myself clad in padded coveralls at these temperatures and then see how he just goes out as is, I think he must feel some cold. The dogs in Denali National Park are given coats in the winter, so I think there is some reason for doing soI. Hope he takes to the coat after all this! He is a very amenable dog, so I am full of hope.
