Market Hall

Quick shot of the Market Hall in Burton on Trent taken on the way to see my solicitors to sort out my mother's will. Left town today with decidedly odd feelings, I won't be back, but I realized on leaving that my father's family has had a connection with the town for five generations from about 1850, and that's now ended.

The Market Hall was nicer than I expected, an interesting victorian construction. I remember shopping here with my mother as a wee boy in the 1960s.
