The birds of Topsham

A good journey down.
Checked in to the Premier Inn in Exeter, and then straight down to Topsham, before the light failed.

We weren't disappointed, as there were so many to see.
A beautiful walk along the river, Clyst, and Exe.

The collage just shows a few of what we saw.

We finished off with steak and ale pies, and St clements sponge pudding, at the Lighter Inn on the quay side.

Great end to the first day of our holiday.
On down to Cornwall tomorrow.
