Are you looking at me?

Worked from home apart from a wee foray down to Ocean Terminal. I thought I was going to have to post an indifferent blip of ships in the docks (there are a lot of them in at present), but when I got off the bus at the Shore I saw this cormorant standing in the middle of the Water of Leith, keeking about. I thought his appearance quite comical, although he may well have been thinking the same thing about me. I assumed he was an adolescent, with all those white markings about the head - but Mr H has informed me that this is actually a male in full breeding plumage. So it seems he was making himself obvious and flaunting his sexy colours, in the hope of a passing lady cormorant spotting him.
