At last, at peace

Seven weeks on, Eddie finally had the chance to say Goodbye to Sheila and to rest her in peace. Those responsible for the delay need to have a serious chat with themselves, but today wasn't the time for recriminations; they will come in due course. Instead, there was dignity and a packed church was testament to the person whose life was celebrated. I doubt she'd mind her wake being chalked up on a Carlsberg board - that seemed to be the order for the rest of the day.
