Red Kite
This morning I was lucky enough to spot this Red Kite in the tree where there has been a kite nest for as long as we have lived here (8 years) in a tree just over the fence in the neighbour's field. Unfortunately the head is mostly hidden behind a branch and I only got the one shot before the bird flew off. Still, it sort of goes with the Buzzard pic from yesterday.
Mr C does not have a chest infection, nor water on the lung, just an ordinary cough. Big relief all round. Both are a danger after the heart attack damaged his heart quite badly and I was really worried about this.
I managed to have a walk along the Aeron river whilst waiting for Mr C to come out of the doctor's. Lots of ducks to see but not much else. A nice day - it was 13C in Aberaeron but only 7C back home - what a difference 12km and 850ft can make.
