Kinneil House

Took advantage of a brief dry spell on Thursday afternoon to have a walk around the Kinneil Estate in Bo'ness. Much, in fact nearly all, of the woodland is currently undergoing forestry work but I still managed to fit in a wee circular tour taking in the house, the church, the ponds and the Roman fortlet.

Was quite surprised at how muddy the paths were and how sodden the grassland of the estate was but, on the plus side, the daffodils around the ruined church looked as if they could be in bloom within the next couple of weeks. A return visit may happen sooner rather than later.
