Desperation

Right before bed I realised I hadn't taken any photos today. It was (another) one of those manic days where I didn't think to stop. Switched phone camera on and this is the image I saw on screen - just the shadow of the chair on the kitchen floor. And actually I thought it looked quite striking, so I didn't go to look for anything that could sum up the day. My image was right there in front of me: There's usually something beautiful or striking to see in this world, but often we are just too busy to notice.
