French Open time

With the French Open Tennis starting this week it was timely for me to photograph this old French Tennis Racket.

The brand is Mason Gardebois from AIX and the model is Mirebeau.

My daughter found it in Aix en Provence whilst studying law. It was a most welcome gift and one I will always treasure.

The old rackets are a lot different to todays lot, and you can only imaging how players from different eras would manage with rackest from different eras.
