Erskine

This is one of the newer buildings on campus called Erskine, home to Computer Science and Mathematics Departments.

Here is a bit about John Angus Erskine and his generous bequest to the University of Canterbury.

Sometimes I have a meeting in Erskine but today I was just  having a walk to clear my head and enjoy the glorious weather.

That's enough of work. I'm on holiday now and leave early Sunday morning for a 7 day tramp in Nelson Lakes National Park. I might even take a bit of fishing gear. Not that I think I pose any real risk to wily back county brown trout. If I surprise myself and catch one, it will be catch and release.

Before I tackle tomorrow I need a long and refreshing sleep.
