Summer thunderstorms

We had a trip to Hamilton today, caught up with Jen (Sightsinging) for a coffee and ambled our way back to Rotorua via some different roads.
It has been one of those sort of steamy afternoons, the clouds were amazing and we passed through some very localised downpours but not enough to be of benefit to the farmers.

Set off for my daily swim when I got home and it had started to rain, but within 5 minutes the sun was shining again.
