Post Card from Christchurch

It was a lovely sunny day but not too hot so I took a walk around the city as I heard tomorrow may get to 29c and that is too hot for walking around.

As you can see in the shots there are a number of new buildings underway with the rebuild of the city. It is great seeing the tram going around the city as well. There were a lot of people aboard today.

Here is the blip I did the other day of the Mural being done.. you can see it is finished now in the shot Top Right.

Last Wednesday there was a documentary on the February 22, 2011 Earthquake. It was hard to watch but pleased I did. They had done a very good job of putting it together and here is a short of what we saw for anyone overseas who would like to look at it.
