The Wall

During my melodramatic teenage years, a friend of mine showed me a video of the film 'Pink Floyd - The Wall', and I thought "oh my god, an entire album and film has been made about me." It's probably the most miserable and self indulgent film ever made.

Some years later, I was backpacking in Italy, staying at a friend of a friend's house. The only English he knew were the lyrics of The Wall album and as long as I kept the conversation using only the words from the album, he pretty much understood what I meant. It had its limitations and after 3 days it was no longer amusing.

I like this wall.
