Oliver and Sophia's cards took pride of place on the mantelpiece today! 
Sadly, the Birthday Boy wasn't well so plans for the evening have been postponed 'til next week. 

The fire drill at 9.30 a.m put paid to a quiet morning! We have to leave the building via one of the spiral turret staircases of the castle leading from our room...a scary adventure in itself without the fire siren sounding. WHY did some children try using the narrow edge of those spiral stairs??

This week...I'm ready for Friday!
