Frilly Skirts!
Woke up to about 2 inches of snow this morning--the roads were horrendous--very icy & slippery! One of my co-workers was on her way to work & saw an accident up ahead of her, only to realize as she got up to it that it was her husband, who'd been rear-ended by a semi-driver who wasn't paying attention & had hit her husbands' car from behind. She was understandably shaken up, as was he, & the car is totaled--but her husband is ok, which is the important part!
The roads were much better by the time I left work & I took this on the way home. The weathered piece of wood is one of the old, original pilings, & the metal one next to it is one of the newer pilings that holds up the network of docks that house all the boats at the yacht club in the summer. I thought the collection of ice & snow wrapped around them both looked like frilly skirts!
